Painting everyday
I've been thinking about what motivates me to paint or draw everyday. Having things set up in a studio helps, but when I didn't have that I tended to keep sketchbooks around the house , in my purse. Looking at other people's work, photos, walking outside jump starts ideas to try. It works for me to make a list of ideas,take photos, keep a reference of images.
one thing I've found is that telling someone about what you want to paint stops me from painting it. I need to keep it to myself until I do it.
